is there also another license available, e.g. LPGL?

Currently GPL is the only license. However, Ela itself is a DLL, no static link is required and you can distribute it with your application even if application is proprietary. LGPL only allows static linking which is not really needed for a .NET component.

I will close it with a comment:

For specific cases Ela can be provided under a different license agreement without any charges/donations. For future I might consider to go away from GPL completely; however, I cannot find a suitable alternative at the moment.
